This is a full-time on-site role for a CMM Quality Engineer at Beacon Industries in Newington, CT. The CMM Quality Engineer will be responsible for quality engineering, quality control, quality assurance, product quality, and quality management, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained in the manufacturing process.

The CMM Quality Engineer will be responsible for quality engineering, quality control, quality assurance, product quality, and quality management, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained in the manufacturing process.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance of ISO9001 and AS9100 systems and perform internal audits.
- Liaison to external auditors, and customer audit reviews. Participate in Supplier Quality Audits.
- Generate in-process and final inspection methods documentation defining and utilizing proper inspection techniques and tools.
- Prepare and/or review Delta FAIRs, UPPAP, and First Article Package for customer approval.
- Prepare, and submit deviation requests for approval using customer portals based on customer requirements.
- Identify and implement ideas that will improve inspection methods or enhance the effectiveness of the inspection process and Quality Management System.
- Promote changes supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Lead Six Sigma, Kaizen and other Lean Manufacturing programs and philosophies.
- Maintains CMM program library, and coordinate calibration and maintenance of CMM machines. May write programs for CMM machines in PC-DMIS.
- Support business development by participating in customer contract reviews
