Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and expand our market presence. This leadership role is crucial for driving strategic partnerships, enhancing customer relationships, and spearheading innovative business strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, outside sales, and account management, with a proven ability to negotiate effectively and lead high-performing teams.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients to expand the customer base.
  • Lead outside sales efforts by engaging with key stakeholders and presenting tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms while maintaining strong customer service standards.
  • Manage a team of inside sales reps and project managers, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients through effective account management practices.

Experience

  • Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or related fields, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in closing complex deals.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
  • Familiarity with market analysis techniques and the ability to identify emerging trends.
  • Experience in account management is highly desirable.
  • Must have construction experience, preferably in the electrical trade

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
