What are the responsibilities and job description for the Routing Specialist position at Beacon Mobility?
WE Transport Inc.
Responsibility Profile :
- Use company software for route standardization, develop daily route assignments based on student and school requirements.
- Optimize routes for effective utilization of resources and assets to meet customer requirements.
- Assign transportation eligibility codes and bus stops for students.
- Prepare various reports on a daily basis, i.e., route change requests, sequence change requests, new customer requests, etc.
- Monitor all student population changes and communicate with the various district's administration to develop and maintain a seamless flow of student routing information requirements.
- Work with Schools' administration to effect transportation services and modifications.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum of supervision.
