Full time : 40 hrs. / week
Monday : 7a-12p 1p-6p
Tuesday : 7a-12p 1p-4p
Wednesday : 7a-12p 1p-4p
Thursday : 7a-12p 1p-6p
Friday : 7a-12p
Position Summary :
Physical therapist aides work under the direct supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. They usually are responsible for keeping the treatment area clean and organized, and preparing for each patient's therapy. Performs other diverse duties as requested or required.
Position Schedule 40 hours per week
Position Responsibilities / Standards :
General
- Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required
- Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns
- Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.
- Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
- Attend required annual in-service programs.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures including delegation of authority as outlined in the Ohio Administrative Code 4755-27-03 : Delegation.
- Adheres to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Identifies potentially unsafe situations and notifies supervisor

Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push, and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 50lbs. Average lift up to 25-50 lbs.
