Summary
As a Tax Support Associate, you will be an integral part of our tax operations, ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of the firm's tax data. Working closely with the Tax Operations Manager, you will utilize your strong financial analysis and customer service skills to provide essential support to our staff and clients. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the tax team to manage and process tax data, ensuring seamless operations and compliance.
- Maintain accurate client information within our CRM (Salesforce) and other internal systems, generating reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or equivalent professional experience. Current students pursuing a relevant degree are welcome to apply for part-time opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues, consistently demonstrating a proactive approach to client service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Office 365).
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), cloud storage solutions (Box), and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom).
- Proficient in using laptops, printers, and other standard office equipment within a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive client and company information is paramount in this role.
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus.
