What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Beacon Property Services?
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartments are in good working order. Reporting to the Property Manager, the ideal candidate is: dependable, thorough, independent, detail-oriented, and has good communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delegating tasks to the maintenance technician
- Preparing apartments for move-in
- Ongoing maintenance, including HVAC (mini-splits), plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Working with third-party vendors to include: painters, pest control, landscaping, cleaners, or others as the property needs dictate.
- Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies within budgetary constrains
- Maintaining curb appeal
- Preventative inspections on a daily/weekly/quarterly/monthly/yearly protocol
- Working with tenants, vendors, and Property Staff.
This role reports to the Property Manager.

Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in apartment maintenance required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- HVAC or EPA certification required
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence is required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to take emergency calls on a rotational basis

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
