Job Responsibilities
- Tailgate freight, lifting, pushing, or moving product weighing over 75 pounds.
- Pre-inspect trucks, load materials, and verify load accuracy.
- Set up job parameters, inspect sites, and ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Inform branch management of potential hazards on site.
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid Class A/B CDL license in good standing with 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Conveyor truck experience preferred.
- Experience driving manual transmission trucks and operating heavy equipment for unloading.
- Able to repeatedly lift over 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to effectively work both independently and in a team environment.
