Developmental Therapy Associate
Beacon Services of Connecticut is one of the state's largest providers of home-based Early Intervention specialty services. We are a dynamic organization, providing families throughout the state of Connecticut with increased access to the highest quality services based upon evidenced based practices.
Beacon Services of Connecticut is currently seeking a Developmental Therapy Associate (DTA) who will be responsible for the implementation and daily oversight of home-based interventions for young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays.
Responsibilities will include working with licensed staff on the completion of initial assessments, developing and supporting individual child goals and objectives, and developing and supporting teaching procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Services, Early Childhood Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- At least one (1) year of experience working with children
- Must have personal vehicle to travel between clients’ homes
- RBT Certification or ABA experience is a plus but not required!
Working Conditions
- Working in home settings - will require travel to various types of homes within an assigned region of towns
Work Hours
- Competitive Hourly rates
- In home sessions occur between 8:00am and 7:00pm
- Monday through Friday
