We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team! You will assist in the daily care of disabled individuals.
Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions
- Implement behavior management strategies and provide emotional support
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Document individual progress and report any concerns or incidents to the supervisor
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- Experience working with individuals with autism, hospice care, or senior care is a plus
- 1-year experience working with developmentally disabled individuals
- Computer literacy using Microsoft Word; familiarity with an electronic health record system preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and other team members
- Understanding of resident rights and ability to advocate for individual needs
- Must be 18 years of age or older
