Summary
We are seeking a Program Manager to join our team at Beacon Specialized Living. This role is critical in overseeing programs that support individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs. The Program Manager will ensure the highest level of care and support, aligning with our mission to empower individuals in their journey.
Responsibilities
- Creating and implementing person-centered plans and services for all clients at a site
- Collaboration with the support team
- Planning day support activities, ensuring appropriate opportunities are available both on-site and within the community
- Management of intake processes and facilitation of new admissions
- Ensuring individual outcomes are being met, advocating for individuals, and preserving health & safety
- Frequent communication with staff, supervisors, client families, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities and behavioral challenges, which include physical and verbal aggression
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
