Direct Service Professional DSP

Job Description
Direct Support Professionals work with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities by teaching self-care skills, cooking meals and doing laundry. Additional duties may include:
- Assisting residents with daily personal tasks, including toileting, bathing, brushing teeth and dressing
- Completing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes and tidying
- Transporting residents to medical appointments as needed
- Shopping for groceries and preparing meals that meet specific resident dietary needs.
- Encouraging resident engagement in social activities
Qualifications:
- This is an entry level position and no previous experience in this field is required
- Applicants must have a HS diploma or GED
- Must be at least 19 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Salary
- $16.00-17.00
