What We are Looking For:
We are currently hiring Positive Behavioral Support Facilitators (PBSFs) to serve as Licensed Behavior Specialists. What You Will Do as a Behavior Specialist:
- Provide crisis stabilization to supported persons and ensure their health and safety
- Provide Therapeutic Consultation Services to supported persons in accordance with company policies and procedures and Virginia Licensing and Medicaid requirements
- Develop behavior plans
- Implement positive behavior supports to include assessing and restructuring the environment to decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase adaptive behaviors
- Train and evaluate staff on behavior plans
What You'll Be Compensated:
- Annual salary up to $75,000, depending on credentials and experience.

What You Need to Have:
- Position requires at a minimum: BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a related area from an accredited college or university
- Three years of documented experience working with special needs and challenging behaviors, particularly with the ID/DD population
- Experience in developing behavior plans; MA/MS preferred
- You must have current Positive Behavioral Support Facilitator endorsement
- Documentation of experience working with/developing behavior plans with special needs populations is REQUIRED
- Significant experience working with ABA-based supports or in an environment that is committed to positive behavioral supports a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and be able to respond to crisis situations
