Workforce Trainer

Full-time 9-5pm Monday to Friday

Job Description:

The Instructor uses methods to evaluate and advise Adult students for job seeking and employment skills. Instructors utilize preventive and developmental counseling to provide individuals with the life skills needed to deal with problems before they occur and to enhance personal, social, and academic growth. Instructors engage students individually, in small groups, or with the entire classes.

Trainer Responsibilities:

- Individual Classroom Work Readiness Sessions

- Coordinate Mentoring Match Program

- Resume Building

- Computer Support for Job Candidates

- Filing Assistance

- Data Management

- Additional responsibilities as necessary

Job Requirements

·         Bachelors degree preferred

·         One year of instructing or teaching preferred.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Internet Explorer

·         Bilingual a plus

·         Able to communicate verbally and in writing

·         Able to type 45-50 words per minute (wpm)
