We are looking for a Sr Architect position at Remote - Providence, RI. The position details are as follows.
Position: Sr Architect
Duration: 6 Months [20 Hrs/Week]
Location: Remote - Providence, RI.
The Senior Architect will work with the Rhode Island Department of Housing's in-house architect to assist in assessing the short-term capital needs of properties owned or leased by the Department, as well as sites being considered for emergency shelter or residential use. This assessment will include recommendations as to whether a professional capital needs assessment is required to develop longterm capital improvement plans for a property including projected operating expenses for potential energy conservation measures.
• Candidates shall be registered architects with at least 20 years of experience in the rehabilitation of residential buildings and adaptive re-use of buildings for residential use.
• Experience shall include work with multiple building typologies including small-scale multifamily and high-rise buildings.
• Candidates' experience must increase the Department's capacity to efficiently make responsible executive decisions regarding design and construction matters.
