Job Description
Qualification & Experience:
- Five years of experience with Cloverleaf, Mirth and/or Rhapsody Integration software with certification in one or more of these tools.
- Five years of experience developing Interfaces for HL7, XML, and/or X12.
- Five years of experience in UNIX Bases scripting (TCL, Perl. Shell).
- Five years of experience with Data Extract, Transformation and Load.
Responsibilities
- At the direction of the Department, review Florida SHOTS system performance and compare performance against requirements within Requisite Pro and create system designs.
- At the direction of the Department, create system tickets and recommend resolutions to the Florida SHOTS system. Issues will be identified by the daily monitoring of the system.
- At the direction of the Department, conduct pilot projects and research into new technologies to support current processes and recommendations for improvements to the Department s integration processes.
- At the direction of the Department, maintain and enhance system subcomponents specific to the electronic submission of vaccination event data to support the recording, analysis, and reporting of individual and aggregate immunization status.
- At the direction of the Department, in collaborating with the Department s Division of Disease Control and Health Protection (DCHP) information technology teams, document, design, and develop plans using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, or other software, to accomplish the Master Person Index project Health Information Exchange (HIE).
- At the direction of the Department, document all work completed during the reporting time on Task log provided by the Department.
- At the direction of the Department, meet with the Florida SHOTS technical team to discuss issues pertinent with current development, testing, releases, or possible enhancement.
- At the direction of the Department, monitor the Florida SHOTS application performance, and advise on best practices, procedures, and configuration to maintain performance.
- At the direction of the Department, provide evaluation and processing programs to ensure dose-level accountability for all vaccines recorded in the Florida SHOTS registry.
- At the direction of the Department, provide evaluation and processing programs to ensure that vaccination events submitted to Florida SHOTS meet minimum data requirements for addition to, modification in, or deletion from the registry database.
