Position: Database Analyst
Duration: 30 Months
Location: Tallahassee, Florida.
Responsibilities:
Service Tasks: Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
- At the direction of the Department, develop code and application from the requirements and data needed, as gathered during either Joint Application Requirements (JAR) sessions or Joint Applications Design (JAD) sessions, or both to JAD and JAR sessions to produce SharePoint or Web pages using the division standard and Department standards (Web Update Procedures, IOP 50-17-2).
- At the direction of the Department, develop backend code from the requirements and data needs, as gathered during JAR and JAD sessions to produce data driven web pages.
- At the direction of the Department, develop code and application from the requirements and data needed, as gathered during JAR and JAD sessions, to enable role- based security.
- At the direction of the Department, develop backend code from the requirements and data needed, as gathered during JAR sessions and JAD sessions, to produce administration tools and screens.
- At the direction of the Department, develop code and application from the requirements and data needed, as gathered during JAR and JAD sessions, to provide direct input to and output from the Health Information Exchange (HIE) database.
- At the direction of the Department, provide change management in a code promotion role in partnership with development team as defined within the Change Management Standard Operating Procedures document (642630-5).
- At the direction of the Department, document, using MS Word, MS Visio, or other software, system technical objects, business requirements, business processes, and system processes.
- At the direction of the Department, develop code, as gathered during JAR and JAD sessions with Integration Broker team to secure data transfer to and from other agencies.
- At the direction of the Department, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), following the Department Application Testing Standards Global Artifact document, on the system and identify all potential issues.
- At the direction of the Department, develop database resources, as gathered during JAR and JAD sessions, for the creation of a seamless single sign-on interface between Merlin and PRISM.
- At the direction of the Department, create required reporting documents, using MS Project, MS Word, SQL Server, Crystal Reporting, Qlik Reporting, or other software.
- At the direction of the Department, attend status meetings, JAR, and JAD sessions.
- Weekly at the direction of the Department, update project plans using MS Project, or other software, with current task status.
- At the direction of the Department, assist with any COVID-19 related issues that arise in relation to database analysis and development of new and existing functionalities using the Microsoft .Net programming and the SQL Server.
Minimum Qualifications:
Contractor staff assigned to this agreement must possess, at minimum, the following qualifications:
- 10 years of experience with facilitating and developing applications from use cases process documents, and workflow diagrams.
- 10 years of experience working with end-users and subject matter experts to document existing processes and identify appropriate changes to existing processes.
- 10 years of experience translating the above documented processes to program code.
- 10 years of experience interacting with highly confidential data as it relates to infectious diseases, personally identifiable information, and the security implications of such interaction.
- 10 years of experience developing web-based applications in a Microsoft .Net environment.
- 10 years experience with object-oriented development techniques.
- 10 years of experience with database reporting tools.
- 10 years of experience with facilitating, developing, and maintaining MS SQL databases
- 10 years of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, scheduled jobs, and linked servers.
- 10 years of experience in database deployment.
- 10 years of experience in analyzing and developing role-based security.
- 10 years of experience in database analysis and design.
- 10 years of experience with data conversions and migrations.
- Microsoft Certified SQL server DBA.
- 4 years of experience with Visual Studio Team System.
- 4 years of experience with Team Foundation Server.
- 4 years of experience with Azure DevOps.
Compensation
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
