Title: Java Developer/ J2EE Developer

Duration: 12 - Months -Possible renewals.

Location: Austin - TX - Hybrid

Minimum Requirements:

Years Required/Preferred Experience

• 13-Years Required Proficient in J2EE technologies, with strong working knowledge of JavaScript and JSP
• 13 -Years Required Hands-on skills in Front-End/UI Development, including enhancement and maintenance of enterprise-grade web applications on the J2EE platform
• 13 Years Required Strong SQL query writing skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• 13 Years Required Experience in application development using Tomcat Server and web services.
• 8-- -Years Required Experience developing comprehensive data validation and data quality checks across various stages of data ingestion and processing.
• 8- -Years Required Experience developing technical documentation for requirements, user training and operations
• 8- -Years Required Experience designing and developing SQL scripts for Snowflake
• 8- -Years Required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project.
• 8- -Years Required Technical writing and diagraming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• 8- -Years Required Experience on an agile sprint team
• 8- -Years Required Experience with JIRA software
• 8- -Years Required Proven experience in business analysis with a focus on TIERS data (CHIP & Medicaid data) for healthcare services
• 8- -Years Required Experience integrating Tableau dashboards within web-based applications.
• 8- -Years Preferred Proven ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• 4- -Years Preferred Understanding of security principles and how they apply to healthcare data
• 4- -Years Preferred Experience with state of the art software components for a performance metrics data visualization or business intelligence environment
• 4 Preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• 4 - -Years Preferred Effectively manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments, as required.
• 4- -Years Preferred Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or equivalent experience.
• 4- -Years Preferred Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry
• 4- -Years Preferred Prior experience with an HHS agency
• 4- -Years Preferred Prior experience working with PII or PHI data
• 4- -Years Preferred Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
