Position: Principal Consultant
Duration: 2 Months plus with potential to extension
Location: Onsite - Tallahassee, FL 32399
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of ten years of experience implementing regulatory requirements for governmental programs.
- A minimum of ten years of experience formulating organizational strategy and directing major strategic initiatives or performing project management for implementation of governmental initiatives.
- A minimum of ten years of experience analyzing processes and developing briefing documents.
- A minimum of ten years of experience providing executive-level consultation for governmental programs.
- A minimum of ten years of experience formulating and enforcing work standards for governmental and regulatory initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning a project initiation meeting with Department staff within five business days of issuance of Purchase Order. Meeting must be documented through meeting minutes. Meeting minutes must be submitted to the Contract Manager within five business days following the meeting. The meeting minutes must document the following:
- Date of meeting;
- List of attendees;
- Summary of information discussed during the meeting;
- Conceive, plan and conduct projects, including, but not limited to, implementing legislative requirements, and collaborate with the Department to establish short and long-term objectives for programmatic support, as directed by the Department.
- Attend regularly scheduled calls and meetings related to program operations and prepare summaries and informational memoranda on operational issues as directed by the Department.
- Develop and maintain project artifacts such as project reports, oversight reports and recommendations related to program operations, as directed by the Department.
- Develop and maintain a project plan and tasks assigned to team members as assigned by the Department. As a member of the team, the Contractor will be assigned and complete tasks in support of project objectives.
- Develop and maintain weekly project and assignment updates using MS Word, Excel, Smartsheet, Project or other software tools or applications as directed by the Department.
