What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Warehouse Developer III position at Beacon Technologies?
Beacon Technologies is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer III for our client partner. The Data Warehouse Developer will assist in the initial setup, configuration and modeling of a new data warehouse in Redshift or Snowflake for our client. The person in this role will work closely with the data warehouse team, BI developers, software engineers and external partners to build the new academic and administrative data warehouse (AADW) as part of our client's transition to Workday in July 2025. The Data Warehouse Developer will report to the Director for Data Analytics.
Responsibilities :
- 50% Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation
- 30% Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for data storage and data mining.
- 15% Assist internal database team with initial data transfers into new warehouse.
- 5% Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data.
