Your Role

BeaconMedaes is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join our team. Our Customer Care team members are entrepreneurial in mindset, passionate about BeaconMedaes and committed to our growth. You are the "Voice of the Customer"-collecting feedback, solving issues and caring for them, to maintain and promote First in Mind First in Choice among BeaconMedaes customers. You will communicate with customers in person, over email, via phone, and then translate this feedback into suggestions and solutions to best utilize our products and services. You are focused on developing competencies related to the medical gas industry. This role is based in Rock Hill, South Carolina and reports to our Project Management & Customer Service Supervisor.

Roles and responsibilities are focused on the following :

Customer Care Support (100%)

• Assists customers via the phone. Follow-up on customer inquiries, providing timely and effective response via phone, email and fax.
• Act as support to the customer care team members and work towards cross training in order to continuously improve.
• Requires continuous OJT to learn specifications on our products and NFPA99
• Create Orders from written and verbal PO's. Allocate parts to orders, create PO's for non-stocked item / equipment, Quote delivery time, quote freight charges and process the invoices to customers.
• Enter verbal and written purchase orders for spare parts into SAP, and initiate material transfer requests.
• Advise authorized accounts (distributors and other customers) of spare parts pricing and availability.
• Expedite the shipment of customer backorders in the most efficient and cost effective way possible.
• Issue return material numbers for shipping discrepancies, elements, and BeaconMedaes service orders.
• Issue credits, RMA's
• Contact approved freight forwarders for air or ocean quotations.
• Issue NAFTA certificates for Mexico and Canadian Customers.
• Perform assigned duties in accordance with BeaconMedaes standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer. Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people / employees considered necessary to get the job done.
