Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving 1911 Hard Cider/Spirits and Ayrloom cannabis brand awareness, executing sales strategies, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders within his/her assigned territory. He/she will have a passion for sales, possess exceptional marketing and leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned):
· Monday thru Friday work schedule. if needed.
· Position is 100% in market with daily local and regional travel.
· Conduct daily email and phone communication with accounts.
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to support brand objectives and drive sales in the assigned territory.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall brand strategy.
· Provide social media content to the marketing team consistently during dispensary visits, training, & events.
· Identify and evaluate local sales opportunities, including but not limited to: tastings, trainings, display placement, shelf placement, cold box management etc.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with alcohol and cannabis retailers, managers and as well as other key stakeholders in the assigned territory.
· Conduct regular retail visits to ensure brand compliance, optimize visibility, and gather market insights.
· Collaborate with management team to align sales efforts with goals and initiatives.
· Plan, coordinate, and execute various on-site consumer engagement activities, including tastings, promotions, festivals, and trade shows.
· Educate and train retail sales teams, and consumers on brand attributes, product knowledge, and what makes 1911 and Ayrloom special.
· Conduct product presentations and tastings to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
· Develop and manage the field sales budget for the assigned territory.
· Track and report on sales activities, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Minimum Qualification Standards:
· High School diploma required.
· Valid driver’s license.
· 1 year of proven experience in cannabis sales, brand management, or similar roles within the beverage or cannabis industry.
· Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
· Strong knowledge and passion for the cannabis industry, including an understanding of cannabis lingo, market trends, and consumer preferences.
· A team player with a can-do attitude
· Strong creative skills and ability to edit.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and evaluate marketing strategies and events.
· Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with co-workers and vendors in a professional and helpful manner in person, via phone or written correspondence.
· Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously.
· Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
· Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.

Equipment, Machines and Software Used:
This position requires the regular use of an automobile for sales travel.
Computer Software: Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel. Gmail proficiency required. Use of Share Sync, costing software and Square POS.
Mental Requirements:
· Extrovert who is comfortable in social environments.
· Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, communicating effectively with vendors, customers and coworkers, using a computer terminal, reading, writing and driving a vehicle.
Physical Exertion: Moderate
· Ability to drive several hours in a car.
· Moderate lifting, loading/unloading and set-up of product cases and samples
Environmental Conditions:
Inside Work:Working inside dispensary’s and production facilities.
Outside Work: Walking between buildings and outside during photo shoots and samplings.
Travel:
This position does require frequent travel.
