Duties
- Secure the building and property at the end of each business day.
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness in commercial spaces.
- Operate floor care equipment, including buffers and scrubbers, to ensure floors are well-maintained and polished.
- Conduct routine custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash collection and dusting.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote environmental sustainability.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
