Company Description
Beall Recovery Clinics (BRC) offers Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services for patients suffering from substance use disorder. We provide comprehensive support, including peer support, counseling, and targeted case management. Starting in January 2024, we will also offer Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups to further assist our patients in their recovery journey.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Abuse Counselor located in Cynthiana, KY. The Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and facilitating peer support sessions. The role also involves coordinating targeted case management to ensure patients receive comprehensive care. The Counselor will need to maintain detailed records, work closely with other healthcare professionals, and participate in the new IOP groups starting in 2024.
Qualifications
- Counseling and substance abuse counseling skills
- Experience with developing treatment plans and conducting assessments
- Ability to provide peer support and facilitate group sessions
