FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
The Transportation Systems Analyst is a critical role focused on developing and managing business processes and systems to deliver improvements, automation, and insights essential to support the business. This includes strategic development, configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the E2Open Bluejay (TMS) and Four Kites applications for inbound and outbound transportation.
INTERACTION:
- Bealls Supply Chain, Logistics, IT and Transportation stakeholders.
- Bealls Logistics Service providers, system product team, and other external partners
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES (Essential Functions):
- Lead the configuration of transportation systems to meet organizational needs.
- Lead projects and initiatives related to E2Open Bluejay (TMS) and Four Kites configuration, enhancement, implementation, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and external system partners, to design, develop, and launch new features, aligning configurations and settings with business processes.
- Troubleshoot configuration or system issues, resolve integration problems, and provide technical support.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and implement system improvements.
- Analyze and optimize transportation systems and processes.
- Provide support and training to transportation system users, internally and externally.
- Collaborate with external carriers & system partners to ensure seamless data exchange and process flow between systems.
- Perform other duties as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, etc).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics transportation analysis and systems preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with E2Open Bluejay (TMS), with experience in Four Kites and PINC preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and transportation operations, processes, and systems.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring, enhancing, and automating transportation systems.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of operating independently in a dynamic environment, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills, with high attention to detail and strong follow-through capabilities.
- Strong team player with experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
