Dental Assistant/Receptionist (Swing Staff)

We are a friendly, patient-focused dental practice dedicated to providing excellent care and service. We are currently seeking a reliable and adaptable swing staff member who can assist both chairside as a dental assistant and support front desk operations as a receptionist when needed.

Position Overview:
This is a flexible coverage role for someone who enjoys variety in their workday. You will help fill in during staff vacations, sick days, or busy periods. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, personable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Dental Assistant Duties:

• Assist the dentist during procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take digital x-rays
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of operatories
• Educate patients on post-op care and oral hygiene

Receptionist Duties:

• Greet and check-in patients
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
• Verify insurance and process billing
• Maintain patient records accurately

Qualifications:

• Experience as a dental assistant and receptionist (or willingness to train in either role)
• Current X-ray certification (if assisting)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and flexible availability
• Ability to adapt to different tasks and work environments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
