Brand Public Relations is a critical component to driving consumer demand, enhancing brand awareness and enabling our growth as a company through premiumization. Joining a team of Global Brand Public Relations professionals within the Global Corporate Communications team, the Manager of Global Brand Public Relations will be responsible for working with brand teams to develop, manage and execute innovative brand PR programs and events for Beam Suntory that support premium positioning and resonate with target consumers in key global geographies. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Brand PR, the Manager of Global Brand Public Relations will also have a dotted line into the Global Brand Houses and work closely with marketing teams in the US and other regions and markets around the world.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop global public relations strategies and drive programs and events in support of annual brand plans and strategic brand growth drivers and objectives.
• Develop news-worthy pitches, content and media angles that generate coverage in traditional, digital and social media platforms. To include work with influencers, as may be appropriate for a brand or campaign.
• Maintain strong, positive consumer and trade media relations on behalf of the brands and company, cultivating relationships with key journalists and influencers.
• Collaborate with digital and social media teams to ensure an integrated approach in driving brand visibility.
• Effectively manage public relations agencies on assigned brands throughout all phases, from creative development through program execution and evaluation.
• Prepare public relations budgets for assigned brands in conjunction with yearly planning process and program development. Manage approved budgets.
• Write media releases, correspondence, speeches, and presentations on assigned brands and Company issues. Contribute to Company intranet, extranet and social channels with content in collaboration with Corporate Communications team.
• Work with brand PR team members to help define, evaluate and showcase success of brand public relations programs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong media relations experience.
• Strong experience with integrated communications planning, development and experience.
• Collaborative style, willing work in cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and thrive in a rapid-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Minimum 8-10 years global public relations experience; consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience especially in luxury goods in either an agency or corporate setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, public relations, journalism or related discipline.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 20% of the time

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is a base salary of $105,000- $115,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. Salary range is commensurate with candidate’s location, experience and skillset.
