Job Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, skid loaders and the like to perform various construction tasks.
- Dig trenches know how to keep grade and communicate with ground guys to effectively complete projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, skid loaders and the like.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with operating heavy machinery, including lifting and digging.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Valid driver's license; certification in heavy equipment operation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
