Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility Foreman to oversee utility construction projects and ensure that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of utility construction management processes. This role requires effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Operations: Supervise daily operations on the utility construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to guide construction activities.
- Project Management: Utilize Microsoft Teams, Excel and Word software for efficient project management and budgeting tasks.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordination: Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Progress Monitoring: Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and report on project status to upper management.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction.
- Safety First: Ensure all work is completed in accordance with established timelines while adhering to safety protocols.
