Social Media Manager and Content Creator
About the Role: In this role, you will report into Beam’s Co-Founder, Matt, and work collaboratively with our growth and creative teams to drive our social media strategy and deliver on-brand content across social channels - working in both a strategic and task-oriented capacity. This person must be passionate about social trends, love all things content creation, be extremely organized, and have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, manage and execute social media vision to drive brand discovery, customer engagement and sales
- Create content for and manage all organic social channels - including posting on IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Twitter etc.
- Create and manage posting and performance of UGC videos and still images
- Research relevant trending content on a daily basis and report back to the team
- Brainstorm and execute innovative new social strategies, test new platforms, and expand social monetization opportunities
- Maintain deep understanding of social media metrics, data analysis and ownership of data touch-points
- Work with internal creative team to oversee social campaign strategy delivering innovative, best-in-class campaigns and meet channel growth goals
- Develop and own KPIs for social media strategy to drive results toward our business goals over the short and long-term
- Provide thought leadership and guidance for social media best practices such as content publishing guidelines, KPI benchmarks, and channel growth strategies across our organization
- Maintain a detailed creative calendar to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Who You Are:
- 4 years of relevant experience in social media marketing, including content creation
- Experience in Capcut, Photoshop, and/or Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across digital platforms with a track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners/talent
- Analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure success
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with leadership and external agencies
- Excels in self-direction, self-pacing, and working independently
- Keep a cool head, a “nothing is beneath me attitude” and be able to reprioritize on the fly
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and follow-up skills
- High energy, ability to consistently take initiative, and a healthy dose of hustle
Location: [Boston, MA or NYC/ Brooklyn, New York] Hybrid work schedule of 3 days/week in-office at either of our Boston or NYC headquarters.
