Position Overview
The Cook is responsible for preparation and cooking of food products and for the care and cleanliness of the equipment in the kitchen area. The Cook will monitor shortening levels, conditioning and filtering shortening throughout the day; and monitoring holding times on products. A qualified candidate will be responsible for keeping fresh product available and for insuring product holding times are properly labeled.
Qualifications
- Stand for up to 8 hours
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
