Under the direct report of the Chief Operating Officer, this position will lead and direct the multifunction of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Generalist serves as a liaison between the employees, the senior management team and as a point of contact on all matters pertaining to HR issues and compliance. This role will manage the HRIS system, (Paycor) handling the HR functions while maintaining working relationships within the departments, advocating for the employees and protecting the organization.
To qualify for this position you must have at least 3-5 years of HR experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit setting; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. HR professional certification is highly preferred or the willingness to obtain, proficient in Microsoft 365, and experience in HRIS systems & databases. You must be detailed-oriented with high accuracy, demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, strong interpersonal and management skills, comfortable navigating change, effective communication, and the ability to form and keep healthy relationships within the organization.
