Barista/Bartender/Server

Bean & Vine Cafe located in Lake Lotawana is a new concept coffee & wine bar that serves fresh pressed juices, healthy smoothies, supplements, protein shakes, açaí bowls, healthy options for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Serving wine, craft cocktails & mocktails in a boho environment with an outside patio filled with warm lights and greenery.

We're looking to fill 2 Barista/Bartender postions (must be 21), 2 dishwashers & 2 line cook positions.

Will train the right person but must have amazing customer service for FOH positions.

Must be customer service oriented, an eye for presentation and a sense of urgency with the ability to multitask multiple orders.

Barista/Bartender Role:

• Ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly with customer satisfaction being 1#. Resolve any conflict that may arise, oversee and ensure quality, cleanliness of workstations and overall standards are being implemented.
• Prepare coffee & bar prior to shift by prepping milks, garnishes and juices needed.
• Stocking as needed.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including martinis, craft cocktails, beer, wine, champagne, hot coffees, iced coffees, espresso, cold press juices, health shots, blended smoothies and teas by recipe.
• Prepare and serve quick food items such as muffins, macaroons and ice cream.
• Maintain clean, stocked stations and front of the house tables and patio areas.
• Quickly greeting guests in a warm, welcoming and friendly manner.
• Educate guests on all menu items, make recommendations and communicate customer feedback to manager.
• Promote upselling and add-ons.
• Rings in transactions accurately in the Toast system and read back/confirm with guest.
• Serve, prepare and deliver food and drinks to bar, table or counter.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have excellent communication skills as the barista is FOH and first point of contact for customers.
• Positive and friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure of multiple orders.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, communicate, take verbal orders, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, lift and carry objects weighing up to 25lbs repetitively over entire shift.

Full-time & Part-time openings.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour plus tips averaging $50-$175 per shift

Expected hours: 15 - 40 hours per week
