Children's Activities Coordinator:
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Children's Supervisor / Activities Director to join our team at Beanstalk HQ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children while ensuring their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate activities and programs
- Supervise and interact with children in a nurturing and supportive manner
- Maintain a clean and safe play environment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to build strong relationships
- Assist in resolving conflicts and addressing behavioral issues
- Review facility for cleanliness and correct set-up
- Support other staff members in cleaning restrooms
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to be trained and certified to perform CPR and first aid
- Must meet state requirements for the position, including PA/FBI Clearances and Background Checks
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, and stand for extended periods
