Beanstalk, a global brand extension agency and consultancy, extends brands through the strategic and creative development of licensed products. The company works with corporate brands, celebrities, entertainment properties, and other high-profile clients to leverage licensing as a strategic tool to enhance brand awareness, increase consumer touchpoints, and generate revenue. Current Beanstalk clients include Procter & Gamble, Stanley Black and Decker, Diageo, W.K. Kellogg, Kellanova, Microsoft Studios, The Met, and The Ohio State University, among others.
Beanstalk seeks a Coordinator, Business Development & Marketing to support the Business Development and Marketing team’s efforts to grow its client portfolio and agency exposure.
The position is responsible for supporting Business Development efforts across all Beanstalk practice areas including managing status documents, conducting research and developing presentations. Marketing responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of various marketing initiatives, managing Beanstalk’s social media accounts and website, developing internal and external communications and assisting with annual trade show preparation. Public Relations activity consists of writing press releases and assisting with the development of thought leadership content.
The candidate should be comfortable with working with all levels especially senior management. This role requires effective communication, writing, organization, project management and interpersonal skills along with great attention to detail. Experience in presentation design, social media, email campaigns, public relations and event planning is required.
The ideal candidate would demonstrate a strong work ethic, professional commitment and proactive approach to work coupled with a desire to learn and grow. An interest in consumer, retail and industry trends and a passion for global brands and marketing is a plus, while having licensing experience is a huge plus.
This position requires at least two years of experience with a focus on business development, marketing, PR, licensing or other related roles.
Salary range: 55-65K bonus - Actual salary is commensurate with experience and will vary based on numerous factors.
