Server/Bartender (Cross-Training Opportunity)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at a bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment.

We are looking to cover 2 shifts primarily at this moment: Monday evenings, from 5pm to close; and every other Saturday evening, from 3pm to end of dinner rush (this shift could become a weekly shift once the patio opens). We also are looking for someone with the ability to cover request offs if available and potentially adding more steady shifts in the future during patio season. There is the possibility of cross training to bartend in order to help cover request offs as well.

Pay: $2.33/hr plus tips minus tip outs to hosts and bartenders when scheduled.

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure guest satisfaction
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area

Required Skills:
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong customer service skills within the restaurant or food industry
- Ability to handle food with care and adhere to sanitation guidelines

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- 1-3yrs of serving experience is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in full service establishments
- Knowledge of guest relations best practices
