Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner/ busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Food Runner/ busser you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to facilitate smooth service during busy shifts, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. You will ensure tables are prepared for guests will enjoy their dining experience. Tables will be pre-bussed and then reset when finished.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food handling and safety.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order timing and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness, buss and reset tables and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support banquet services by setting up and breaking down food stations as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with their meals.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
