Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring that lawns and gardens are healthy, beautiful, and well-kept. This role involves a variety of tasks including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and seasonal services such as snow plowing. The Lawn Care Specialist will work closely with clients to meet their landscaping needs and contribute to the overall aesthetic of their properties.
Duties
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and watering.
- Execute tree trimming and groundskeeping activities to maintain the health and appearance of trees and shrubs.
- Irrigate lawns and gardens effectively to promote growth while conserving water.
- Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper soil conditions for plant health.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Communicate with clients regarding their landscaping needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred.
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and groundskeeping practices.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and garden maintenance.
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
