Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. Lawn care and resort upkeep is a large part of the job. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and appearance of our residential properties. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Lawn maintenance and resort grounds upkeep is required.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Execute residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Fabricate and weld components as necessary for repairs or improvements.
- Read and to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Supervise maintenance staff when required, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to resident requests and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with residents and team members.
- Experience in residential painting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to fabricate and weld materials as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with reading schematics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
