Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until they leave. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure guest safety.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
- Familiarity with guest services principles and practices.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures is essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
