Job Title : Assistant Distribution Manager (Santa Ana Facility)

Department : Operations

Reports to : Distribution Manager

Primary work locations : Santa Ana, CA (eventually moving to Fullerton) with possible occasional travel to Chino, CA.

Core Responsibilities :

The Assistant Distribution Manager supervises all activities of that facility, which includes but not limited to overseeing team performance, training, expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, inventory control, ensuring efficiencies, organized storage, and staffing needs.

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Conducts monthly safety meetings with all facility staff members. Ensures all associates have been accounted for and signed in.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Recruits, interviews, hire, and trains new staff.

Update SOP (standard Operating Procedures) wherever necessary.

Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Assist with any audit whenever necessary

Training of staff and adherence to company policies.

Skills and Minimum Qualifications :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Leading a team with over 25 employees.

time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

At least two years related experience require

Omni Channel preferred

Customer compliance

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Salary Range : 70,000 DOE

Actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education, and relevant job & industry experience.
