Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Provide safety training development for employees
- Investigate accidents and incidents, performing root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and Workers Compensation laws
- Manage workers compensation claims and return-to-work programs
- Maintain occupational health programs
- Collaborate with management to create a culture of safety awareness
- Conduct safety meetings and drills
- Ensure employee completion and submission of daily Job Safety Analysis forms.
- Monitor EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) performance
- Issue, track and verify usage of Personal Protective Equipment among all company employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (preferred)
- Certified Safety Manager Certificate,
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
-OSHA 30 Hour Certification
-OSHA 511 Certification (preferred)
- Proven experience in safety management
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards
- Familiarity with Workers Compensation laws
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
-Professional demeanor and efficacy.
-Bilingual (English and Spanish)
