What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRUCK PUSHER position at Bear Energy Services LLC?
We are seeking a skilled Truck Pusher to oversee and manage our Dirt Work Construction transportation operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of heavy equipment machinery, caliche, water, top soil and other cargo ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
The Transport Manager will report directly to the company President/CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize delivery efficiency
- Coordinate with drivers, Dirt Work Superintendent, Fleet and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor transportation costs and work towards cost reduction strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, truck inspections and company policies
- Review truck maintenance schedules and repairs
- Resolve any transportation-related issues or delays promptly
- Analyze transportation data to improve processes and performance
-Submit and review DOT trip and Oversize/over limit transportation permits
Skills:
-Possesses a valid Commercial Drivers License Class A (Required)
-Tanker/Hazmat (X) Endorsement preferred
- Proven experience in transport management or a related field
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and procedures
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams, drivers, and external partners
- Proficiency in using transportation management software for tracking and reporting
- Professional demeanor and efficacy
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
