Work Location: Multiple Locations of Kern County responsible for supporting staff and clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Overview:

BEAR LLC is seeking an Assistant Clinical Supervisor Level 1 to provide clinical program support for participants receiving autism therapy services from BEAR LLC in the region of Kern County.Assistant Clinical Supervisor Level 1 will be overseen and supervised by a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and are required to retrieve or have retrieved their Qualified Autism Services Practitioner Supervisor (QASP OR QASP-S) certification. A QASP or QASP-S is responsible for providing effect supervision to behavior interventionists and participants retrieving applied behavior analysis services. The QASP/QASP-S maintains treatment fidelity, client progress, and ongoing caregiver/staff training under the ongoing supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities:

· Provides effective and weekly supervision to Behavior Interventionists who provide direct 1:1 service to the participants receiving ABA therapy

utilizing a BCBA guide for support and checklist until competency and fluency in supervision appointments is met

· Supervision visits should include rapport building with the families as well as the therapists, clinical feedback, monitoring all client records, and providing staff and caregiver training/support in-vivo

· Analyzes data via the Central Reach client database and ensures data is accurate, reliable, and holds integrity with BCBA support with ongoing exposure with graphs and analyzing until competency is met

· Completes monthly feedback forms on Behavior Interventionists to support ongoing ABA training and potential career advancement with IOA support of her bcba and bst training until competency is met

· Provides team meetings on a bimonthly basis at minimum per client with bcba support and inclusion until competency is me

· Collaborates to create or is delegated to create staff/company trainings as required by B.E.A.R and participants with BCBAs, RBTs, and ABA paraprofessionals. And attends other meetings as requested by the BEAR LLC administrative team with bcba support and taught in portions until competency is displayed for full report writing

· Manage their Central Reach client schedule for payroll purposes and identifies in detail all appointments as they happen in real time

· Protect client confidentiality through Health insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA).

· Able to cover 1:1 sessions as needed to fulfill client hours and/or to meet monthly contracted hours

· Manages and completes all necessary documentation for given clients such as but not limited to; progress reports, termination reports, maintains Central Reach Sessions and Learning Trees

· Collaborates or completes annual staff appraisals as needed (With support of the bcba until competency is met)

· Demonstrates competency and independent use of professionalism, customer service across cases, clear and communicative skills, and leadership when managing applied behavior analysis terminology and strategies.

· Maintain 90% minimum for each client’s direct hours for billed hours/total available hours (this gives her 13 hours to possibly learn things in regards to report etc all based on opportunity and assignment purposes )

· Hours for each day must be shown on CR added before 8:30am the following business day

Education:

· Must obtain the QASP OR QASP-S certification or BCaBA

· A Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications:

· Typically requires prior training, exposure, or experience of a minimum of 1 year that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the core responsibilities of the position

· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and related computer software, and ability to learn new software programs as needed

· Displayed leadership skills and ongoing competency in the foundational skills of applied behavior analysis

· Ability to maintain positive customer service interactions across all interactions, a high degree of professionalism and work ethic, strong decision

making and leadership skills, ability to work collaboratively with a BCBA and maintain integrity of ABA services provided by their supervisees

· The Assistant Clinical Supervisor Level 1 will need to be skilled in the use of effective communicative skills and frequent collaboration with the parents, the BCBA, and the administrative B.E.A.R. team

· Must display strong clinical aba skills, and be familiar with ABA terminology and ABA concepts and evidence- based methodology and practices

· Must pass the LiveScan background check (FBI,DOJ)

· Complete and pass a TB test

· Responsible for their own means of transportation and must be willing and able to travel within a regionalized given parameter for in-home, community, and other potential locations for sessions.

· The position requires lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading of materials and/or B.E.A.R. therapy toy bags for the use of teaching clients

· Ability to interpret and follow policies listed in the B.E.A.R employee handbook, addendums, and other DocuSign materials

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
