Bear Mountain is actively looking to hire a motivated and experienced Nurses for our Long-Term Care Facility in Sudbury, MA. We pride ourselves in the level of professionalism our team exhibits every day, as we strive to provide the best possible care for our resident’s and team members. The RN/LPN will work directly with the Director of Nursing in providing guidance and direction to ancillary staff in both clinical and personnel issues.
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Must be physically active with the ability to lift, bend, push, pull
Education and/ or Experience:
Current Nursing License
Prior Long-Term Care experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents.
- Provide assessment of the residents’ conditions and respond accordingly
- Work with other members of the facility interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain effective communication with other staff to assure the highest standard of care is maintained for each resident.
- Complete reports such as changes in residents condition report, incident and accident reports, etc.
- Provide immediate response to situations of resident risk such as allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property.
- Ensure timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
- Care for the physical and psychosocial needs of older adults. Focus on maximizing patients’ functional abilities, as well as promoting, maintaining, and restoring their physical and mental health.
