What are the responsibilities and job description for the MDS Coordinator position at Bear Mountain Health Care?
HANOVER TERRACE HEALTH & REHABILIATION CENTER IS SEEKING A SELF-MOTIVATED, DETAIL-ORIENTED RN TO SERVE AS THE MDS COORDINATOR.
This role is accountable for preparing and electronically submitting timely reports to the national Medicare and Medicaid database, ensuring the accuracy of medical records and coding procedures. Additionally, this individual will assist with staff education on proper documentation to reflect accurate resident assessments and coding.
Requirements:
- Active RN or LPN licensure in NH
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting preferred
This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits available.
Hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm, 4 days a week, with a rotating call schedule and flexible scheduling based on facility needs. Daytime hours are negotiable for the right candidate.
