Supervisor responsibilities- Supervise clinical staff, providing leadership and support to ensure optimal patient care.- Conduct resident admissions / assessments to prioritize patient needs and facilitate timely interventions.- Oversee scheduling needs and assist the on call person with filling shifts.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery for results.- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.- Monitor staff and ensure adherence to facility policy.- Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.- Evaluate the effectiveness of clinical practices and recommend improvements as necessary.Skills- Strong knowledge of nursing home practices and procedures.- Proficient in admissions / patient assessment methodologies.- Experience working with the elderly population.- Expertise in conducting diagnostic evaluations within a clinical framework.- Familiarity with infection control standards and practices.- Ability to supervise and mentor clinical staff effectively.- Understanding of systems that support efficient healthcare delivery.- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.must take an ON-Call weekend rotation
