Job Overview
Parkway Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our team of skilled healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care. The Director of Nursing will oversee the daily operations of our home health and home care services, ensuring that patients receive personalized and timely care in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our home health and home care services, including staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
- Provide leadership and guidance to our nursing team, promoting a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous learning.
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes and quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
- Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments, to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Foster relationships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to patient safety, confidentiality, and informed consent.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
- Serve as a liaison to external agencies and organizations, including regulatory bodies, to ensure that our services are aligned with industry best practices and standards.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in Long Term Care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management.
- Experience with HIPAA regulations and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with PCC.
- Experience in shift management and supervising nursing staff.
- A commitment to providing patient-centered care and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
