What are the responsibilities and job description for the Every other weekend Receptionist position at Bear Mountain Healthcare?
Mattapan Health & Rehabilitation Center is in search of a Part Time or Per Diem Receptionist!
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, visitors, families with a positive, helpful attitude; provide exceptional customer service
- Provides assistance and guidance to visitors, directing them to various locations.
- Ensure visitors are checking in and out of the building
- Get identification from agency, vendor visitors
- Answering phones for a multi-line phone system
- Answer, forward, and return calls in a timely manner
- Fielding calls from Families, hospitals, Nursing Homes, Patients, Physicians, etc.
- Taking and dispatching emergency and non-emergency messages
- Remaining pleasant and professional with callers, and calm under pressure
- Working hand in hand with coworkers
- Check office voicemail, return calls and forward to other team members as necessary
- Entering resident demographics into Point Click Care

- Consistent, reliable and professional dress /manner
- Have Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Know MS Word and MS EXCEL
- Comfortable with Outlook Email and Windows platform
- Good time management skills
- Have Multitasking capability without compromising on quality
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, assisting others as needed
- Strong history of customer service
