DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Complete space planning for all indoor and outdoor community areas within developments.
• Complete 3D renderings of all properties’ common spaces and model units to assist in planning process of specialty design features and FF&E placement and sizing.
• Identify necessary FF&E for all indoor and outdoor community areas within developments.
• Develop and manage FF&E procurement timelines to ensure FF&E is on site when needed (with assistance from the Design Coordinator & Design Manager).
• Specify interior and exterior finishes including material and colors, in coordination with Design Manager.
• Assist Design Manager in the design and planning of specialty walls, lighting, artwork installations, etc.
• Review floor plans of developments to provide timely feedback on space planning of residential units and common spaces for functionality & utilization of square footage.
• Assists in creating aesthetically pleasing, detailed, and organized design presentations for both FF&E items and interior & exterior finishes.
• First level review of architect submittals and RFIs, as applicable (e.g. cabinets, windows, flooring, light fixtures) to provide feedback to Design Manager.
• Attend frame walk & initial finish walk with Design Manager - note any corrections needed to interior design items and issue report to contractor. Alert Design Manager and construction PM of any FF&E impacts that would affect building or site design.
• Complete punch-list for buildings ready for occupancy, including units, common areas, and building exteriors.
• Maintain and update finish sample libraries.
• Maintain and update vendor directories.
• Maintain and update Design Team SOP & Bear Design Standards Checklist.
• Attends all design meetings as needed in order to help accomplish all tasks listed above.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Design Manager.
