Bear River Health (BRH) is a Private for Profit, Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) that serves people with primary substance use disorders and mental health issues in medically supervised detoxification, residential and outpatient treatment setting. Our services include variable length of stay residential treatment, sub-acute detoxification, outpatient substance abuse treatment that also includes drug testing, assessment for substance use disorders, intervention services, individual and group therapy, medical and medication management, psychiatric evaluations, individual and group therapy, Supported Sober Living (Transitional Living), educational lectures, patient education, physical evaluations, as well as many other services.

Function:
This position directly reports to the Revenue Recovery Director and under guidance of the CFO and in collaboration with the Outpatient Utilization Review staff to ensure all encounters are collected and billing within guidelines of State, Federal, and licensing guidelines to produce the “perfect bill”.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Performs experience level secretarial tasks of a confidential nature including but not limited to producing letters, reports, memorandums, etc.
· Communicates in a positive and effective manner with staff, patients, clients, co-workers, parents and/or visitors.
· Answers the phone communications and record messages.
· Schedules appointments, maintains calendar, allocates supervisors time.
· Schedule meetings and reserve rooms for meetings.
· Distributes mail.
· Maintains files and financial records.
· Transcribes dictation.
· Maintains attendance reports, leave records, trip records and logs.
· Proof reads and edits.
· Maintains and processes forms
· Orders, distributes, and keeps inventory of supplies
· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent
Strong candidates will demonstrate the following characteristics:

· Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral form.
· Work independently and organize complex clerical tasks.
· Knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation and grammar.
· Knowledge and proficiency and the use of technology (i.e. Computers, word processing, database a spreadsheet programs and PowerPoint.)
· Accomplishes work responsibilities with minimal supervision.
· Knowledge and ability of record keeping methods, keyboarding and preparation of correspondents.
· Knowledge of the functions of the various parts of the assigned department.
· Knowledge of alphanumeric filing systems, inventory control methods and methods commonly used in the training for acquiring clerical skills.
